Carrie Prejean files suit against Miss California USA for religious discrimination

Carrie-prejean- Just when you thought it was safe to surf the Web again, Miss Carrie Prejean is back.

And she's brought a nice fat attention-getting lawsuit against the folks at the Miss California pageant – including Shanna Moakler and  Keith Lewis â€“ for firing her. She claims she was fired for her religious beliefs.

Interestingly, Donald Trump, who has the fattest wallet of the bunch, is not named.

TMZ reports that the suit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, accuses the pageant peeps of defamation, public disclosure of private facts, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

So far she has not blamed them for those topless shots. And she has not filed suit against the photographer. Or the wind for blowing her top open. Yet.

As you may recall, the Miss Cali/USA folks insist they fired her for missing obligated appearances and not clearing extracurricular activities.

Prejean claims the Miss Cali people "conspired to get rid of her" after she admitted on the "Today" show that she would rather be "biblically correct than politically correct."

The lawsuit also claims the Miss Cali USA folks "fabricated a fraudulent list of some 50 public appearances allegedly missed by Prejean which they released to the media in order to justify her termination as Miss California USA."
