carson-kressley-ricki-lake-dwts.jpg Carson Kressley was the most recent eliminated "Dancing With the Stars" contestant. He tells "Good Morning America" that Maksim Chmerkovskiy was actually his first choice for a professional partner, as he compares the pro/star relationship to online dating.

"I was kind of hoping for Maks. I was like, 'Wait, you're not Maks,'" he said, when he met partner Anna Trebunskaya. "But she is so much better than Max, so much lighter. I could not have asked for a better partner."

Carson also says it's a great workout.

"Everyone tells you that it's a very challenging show and you're going to lose lots of weight  and be in the best shape ever, and it basically is. I'm not down to my birth weight yet, but I'm going to keep dancing," says Kressley.

"It's a great form of exercise that I'd recommend to everyone watching. My words of wisdom are, try something new.  Life is short.  Have fun, dance to the music and enjoy it," he continues.

Carson also tweets his praise and the above picture of himself and fellow contestant Ricki Lake.

  • "I just have to say #DWTS was the best experience ever. I will miss all of the pros and stars. I love you all."
  • "And a world of thanks to the best partner in guy could ask for @atrebunskaya !!! I will cherish my time with you. I love you."
  • "And a world of thanks to all the fan who voted and showered us with love !!"

We will miss your enthusiasm and humor, Carson.
