The family of legendary DJ and TV voiceover actor Casey Kasem has been in the news lately because his second wife Jean Kasem, a former actress on the show "Cheers," will not let his three children from his first marriage see Casey, who has advanced Parkinson's disease.

"Today" speaks with Kasem's children, brother and friends about the protest they've mounted outside Casey's house in the hopes that they can make Jean budge on letting them see him. She has reportedly called the cops on said protest.

"Jean has just bolted him up and kept him under wraps." says Kasem's friend Chuck Olson. Casey's brother Mouner Kasem adds, "We don't know where to go. Hopefully we will see and love our brother and our dad and our good friend again."

The kids say that it's not about money, if that's what Jean is worried about. Daughter Julie Kasem says they just want to spend time with their father.

"I don't want any of his money, I don't want his estate, I don't want anything. I simply want to see my father on a regular basis -- give him a hug, hold his hand, give him a massage, put a smile on his face. It's that simple," says Julie.
