'Castle' preview: Reunited and it feels so good

Nothing against the "Castle" premiere -- any sparring between Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic is welcome after the summer drought -- but all that tension (of the regrettably non-sexual variety) was hard on our already-weary hearts.

Thankfully, the caught-at-the-murder-scene/abandoned partnership stuff is replaced with glorious puns in the Sept. 27 episode "He's Dead, She's Dead."

The newly reunited partners track down a medium's murder after she turns up dead in a sleeper-sofa, and during the investigation it starts to look as though she may have predicted her own demise. [Queue Fillion gasping like a teenage girl.]

Given the premiere's smirk-filled ending and the whimsy of the latest case, is it safe to assume all of the drama is behind us? Hardly. Castle's still shacking up with ex-wife/publisher Gina ( Monet Mazur), and the upcoming release of "Naked Heat" will no doubt bring her back in the picture. But for now, there's this:

We have no idea what The B-52's "Rock Lobster" has to do with murdered psychics, but we like it.
