Cat Cora DUI video: 'I'm being videotaped by two nerds'

Celebrity chef Cat Cora was arrested for DUI in July 2012 after she rear-ended another vehicle in Santa Barbara, Calif. Now video of an obviously impaired Cora has made its way into the hands of TMZ.

When the "Around the World in 80 Plates" host realizes she's being recorded, she says to camera, "I'm being videotaped by two nerds who don't want to go have dinner together ... do something exciting with their lives ... really ... wow ... sad."

The female passenger asks Cora for her insurance information, and she slurs responds, "Just because I bumped your car?" The male behind the camera points out, "She's not in the state of mind."

At the time of the incident, Cora admitted to drinking three beers before driving, but her blood alcohol level was more than twice California's legal limit. She later released a statement saying, "I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable. I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions. This will never happen again."
