'Catching Fire': Jena Malone, Sam Claflin show off new clips
Jena Malone and Sam Claflin both stopped by "Good Morning America" to promote next week's release of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." In addition to being adorable and tossing pumpkins in Times Square, they also showed off Johanna and Finnick-focused clips.
The Finnick scene shows audiences a tease of Katniss' first meeting with her competitor. Just don't expect Claflin -- who was wearing his wedding socks to the interview -- to be quite as naked as his character was in the book.
"The novel obviously has a lot less, so I was quite happy with how it turned out," he says with a laugh. "I got good at tying knots, but not any big enough."
Of his physical transformation for the role, Claflin says wife Laura Haddock "was happy, so I'm not complaining by any means."
Both stars say they are both nervous an excited for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" to be released on Nov. 22. Malone says, "We worked so hard and I think that the fans are just going to love it so much. At this point, I'm just like let them see it!"
