catherine-bell-gi.jpg "Army Wives" star Catherine Bell and husband Adam Beason are separating after 17 years of marriage. The couple has two children -- eight-year-old Gemma and one-year old Ronan.

"They remain great friends," a rep tells People magazine. "They're committed to raising their two children together."

The couple met on the set of "Death Becomes Her" in 1992 -- Bell was Isabella Rossellini's body double. They married in 1994.

The separation was reportedly mutual and amicable and the couple will continue to be partners in their production company, DaVinci Films. Says her rep: "They're excited to work on projects together."
