While Michael Douglas may be in Cannes promoting his new HBO film "Behind the Candelabra," the real excitement is happening at home, where his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones has returned after completing her ongoing treatment for Bipolar II disorder.

Speaking to People Monday (May 20), Douglas says, "She comes home tomorrow. She's doing a really good job of getting balanced. I'm proud of her."

Zeta-Jones reportedly checked herself in for treatment of the disorder, a milder form of being bipolar, at the end of April though her stay was a proactive measure. She previously sought treatment for the disorder in 2011.

As for her thoughts on Douglas' new movie, the actor says, "She loves it," adding, "It cracks her up. She thinks it's a great movie."

"Behind the Candelabra," the story of Liberace, airs on HBO May 26 at 9 p.m.
