CBS' '3' women talk crazy guys and say they are extremely happy with the outcome

3-women-cbs.jpgCBS debuted a new dating show Thursday night (July 26) called "3," which moves to its regular timeslot on Sunday, July 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. What did you think of it?

We found "3" to go against what we were expecting. It was very sincere, the women were not combative or catty (not that we assume women are, but our perception for reality dating shows is mostly colored by "The Bachelor") and we found ourselves truly wanting to follow along not only with these women's journeys to find love but with their friendship with each other.

When Zap2it sat down with Rachel, April and Libby at the Television Critics Association press tour, the friendship was just as palpable in person as it came across on television, which was refreshing. The women also assured us that they're so glad they did the show.

"It was the best time of my life," says Libby. "I would never have been able to experience all of this if it weren't for the show."

"I've said this before and I'll say it a million times over, we are all so happy, no matter the outcome," adds Rachel.

But of course, that doesn't mean there weren't some bumps along the way. We had to find out if there were more crazy guys a la the one we saw in the premiere with the motivational football speech. And the ladies confirmed that yes, there were some doozies.

"A guy sang us some 'Beauty and the Beast.'" says April. "We had some dancers. We had push-ups and claps."

"We had a guy who brought a coupon book," says Rachel. At this point, we blurt out, "Like you make your mom for Mother's Day when you're 8 years old?"

"Yes!" they all laugh.

"He made it himself," Rachel continues. "He went to the craft store and made a coupon book. 'This is for one free jar opening,' 'This is for one free hug' and it'd be a picture of a teddy bear, but like -- a felt, plush teddy bear."

They also said the female auditioner (who turned out to be there to promote her best guy friend) was quite a surprise, but as April says, "We were like -- We appreciate you right now, you are super brave!"

Which is just another example of why we loved the women on "3." Did you watch the premiere? Will you be tuning in Sunday night to continue with the story?
