himym-final-season-premiere-date.jpgCBS is sticking to its usual playbook when it comes to launching its fall schedule -- which means a whole lot of premieres during the first official week of the 2013-14 season.

This year, the Nielsen-measured season starts on Sept. 23, and that week will feature the premieres of all but two shows in the network's fall lineup. The outliers are the 27th edition of "Survivor" (Sept. 18), which typically starts a week before the rest of the schedule; and new comedy "We Are Men," which will start Monday, Sept. 30 in order to make room for an hour-long "How I Met Your Mother" premiere on Sept. 23.

CBS also has the Emmy Awards this year, and they will air Sunday, Sept. 22, a day before the season begins. The network also says its midseason drama "Intelligence" will debut on Feb. 24 -- it's sharing the 10 p.m. Monday spot with another new show, "Hostages," which will have completed its run before then.
