'Charlie Brown' actor Peter Robbins guilty of stalking and threatening
The man who used to voice Charlie Brown isn't so cute anymore. Former child actor Peter Robbins recently pled guilty to both threatening and stalking his ex-girlfriend and the plastic surgeon who performed a breast augmentation on her.
Robbins was tried in San Diego court Wednesday after being arrested in January. The 56-year-old was tried for threatening his former girlfriend Shawna Kern and her doctor Lori Saltz. According to City Service News, Robbins paid for Kern's surgery but then got angry with her. According to the report, Robbins grabbed Kern by the neck and said she had to go with him to get the money he paid for her boob job back. She ended the relationship, but he continued to call her numerous times a day, prosecutors claim.
Apparently Robbins' threats extended to Saltz as well. He would call Kern and threaten to kill her and her son if she didn't return his dog and car, and did the same to Saltz when he was demanding a refund for the augmentation. Robbins' sentence is up to three years in state prison.
