Charlie Sheen: Judge sends suit against Warner Bros. to arbitration
On Wednesday (June 15), a California Superior Court judge sent Sheen's $100 million lawsuit against Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre back to arbitration. According to the Los Angeles Times, Sheen had been avoiding arbitration -- even though his contract specified that Sheen settle any differences via an arbitrator.
Sheen's legal team remains hopeful that the arbitrator could still send the suit back to court, though judge Allan Goodman ruled that the arbitrator's clause was valid.
Warner Bros. fired Sheen -- who made $1.2 million per episode -- in March saying he was unable to perform with any reliability.
