'Charlie's Angels' video clip: 'Pure candy' angels with some baggage
The series reintroduces the three angels as women with decidedly sketchy pasts, instead of the squeaky-clean police trained angels of yesteryear. Abby ( Rachael Taylor) is a rich girl gone bad - think Blair Waldorf turned expert cat burglar. Kate ( Annie Ilonzeh) is a former Miami officer who "fell from grace," while Eve ( Minka Kelly) is a street racer who joins the other women when her childhood friend is killed.
"Charlie's Angels," obviously a remake of the classic show, is written and executive produced by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the team that launched "Smallville." It's also executive produced by folks who have already shown a noted passion for the source material: Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen, who were behind the recent "Charlie's Angels" films, and Leonard Goldberg from the original series.
Additionally, the show is directed and executive produced by Marcos Siega of "The Vampire Diaries" -- which is now "Charlie's Angels" direct competition in the 8 p.m. EST time slot on Thursday nights.
Will you be tuning in for the remake?
