charmed-movie-shannen-doherty-alyssa-milano.jpgFirst came the news of a possible "Charmed" reboot at CBS, followed by negative reactions to the idea from a couple of the show's stars, Rose McGowan and Alyssa Milano.

Next, the backlash, and then a suggestion from Zap2it's partner Hypable that perhaps a "Charmed" movie with the original show's cast would be the better way to go. And now we may be onto something.

"I would definitely do a #charmed movie," Milano tweeted Wednesday (Oct. 30), shortly after retweeting the Hypable link. She then asked of her former co-stars Holly Marie Combs, McGowan and Shannen Doherty, "would you?"

Combs and McGowan hadn't responded as of this post, but Doherty, who starred on The WB show's first three seasons, is ready to join Milano. "Yep I would," she writes. "Enough was left undone to address and make a good movie."

To be clear, nothing like a "Charmed" reunion is in the works, and the people behind the reboot (other than rights-holder CBS TV Studios) were not involved in the original show. Still -- what do you think? Would you rather see a reunion of the original cast, or a new series with a similar premise?
