Chelsea Handler scores $25 million: 'I behave badly and I get paid for it'
Handler recently spoke with Fortune about her negotiation tips... and basically, her tips are not to accept tips from anyone else. "I don't listen to anyone or any advice because I know exactly what I want and how I want it," she says. "You have to ask for what you want. Just because there are parameters that have been set doesn't mean they can't be blown open."
Her deal with E! includes "Chelsea Lately," "After Lately," and new projects in development. She'll also continue to work on her semi-autobiographical NBC sitcom, "Are You There, Chelsea?" starring "That '70s Show's" Laura Prepon. She's also a best-selling author and a stand-up comedian.
But if you ask Handler what she does? "I do behave badly and I get paid well for it," is how she answered Piers Morgan. "It's a really good time to be me."
