Cher proves it's a 'Woman's World' with performance on 'The Voice' finale

As host Carson Daly said during the Tuesday (June 18) finale of "The Voice," the "goddess of pop" deigned to come down to Earth and debut her new single. That's right -- as advertised, Cher herself stopped by the hit NBC singing competition to premiere "Woman's World."

While at times it seemed obvious that the legend was lip-syncing, it still doesn't take away from the astounding fact that Cher is 67 years old and debuting a dance track. Sure, she was wearing a ridiculous wig on her head. Who cares? It's Cher!

The performance of "Woman's World" was the singer's first live TV performance in over 10 years, but fans likely have plenty to look forward to in the coming months as Cher is putting out a new album -- her first in 12 years -- on Sept. 24. The album, entitled "Closer To the Truth," is already available for pre-order on iTunes.
