Clark and Ellen Griswold could be coming back to the big screen in the upcoming reboot of "Vacation." It's being reported that Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo are in talks to reprise their roles from the 1983 original.

Variety has the casting news, saying that Chase and D'Angelo's parts would be little more than cameos. Talks are currently underway, but nothing is confirmed yet. The movie follows their son, Rusty Griswold, as he takes his own family on a series of road tripping misadventures, and one of the stops along Rusty's journey is at his parents' home.

Ed Helms will play Rusty in the new movie, and Christina Applegate will play his wife. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein are both writing and directing the movie.

Chase and D'Angelo reprised their role as the Grisworlds in an Old Navy commercial released in November. Entertainment Weekly also recently reunited the "Vacation" cast.
