chicago-fire-cast-nbc-400.jpgNBC debuted its new drama from "Law & Order" boss Dick Wolf on Wednesday -- but did "Chicago Fire" heat up enough for you to keep watching?

Starring "House's" Jesse Spencer and "The Vampire Diaries'" Taylor Kinney as the leaders of the fire and rescue squad in a Chicago firehouse.

Lt. Matthew Casey (Spencer) and Lt. Kelly Severide (Kinney) blame each other for the death of a colleague and friend, so when rookie fireman Peter Mills (Charlie Barnett) arrives, he walks into a deeply divided house. The tension between Casey and Severide is easily the most compelling part of the pilot, particularly when we see that it stems from their own personal demons -- Casey is splitting from his wife, while Severide is hiding a troublesome secret.

We've seen the next two episodes, too, and we will say -- if the first episode leans toward the melodrama in the firehouse, the next two allow us a deeper understanding of the rivalry by amping up the action out in the field. In Zap2it's review, Jean Bentley said, "Essentially, it's the ideal new show for weekend DVR catchups while you fold laundry. And isn't that what you need sometimes?" Now we're curious to see what you think. Vote in the poll below and let us know if you plan to keep tuning in.
