The "One Tree Hill" alum has rebounded from her failed NBC pilot "Hatfields & McCoys" to join the "Chicago Fire" spinoff, along with her "Hatfields" co-star Patrick Flueger ("The 4400"), THR reports.

Bush will play Erin Lindsay, a member of the CPD investigative team who has an "unexpected past." Flueger, on the other hand, will portray Kyle Ruzek, a hot-headed rookie selected by Voight ( Jason Beghe) from the academy for some dangerous undercover work at the intelligence unit.

The two join a "Chicago PD" cast that also includes Jesse Lee Soffer (another "Hatfields" castoff) and Jon Seda.

"Chicago PD" will premiere midseason on NBC.
