This may not be good news for Chris Brown. The singer has been accused of assaulting a woman in a Southern California night club Saturday (June 22). The incident reportedly happened at the Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, Cal.
TMZ reports that Chris was in the VIP section of the club following a performance earlier in the evening. When closing time rolled around, Brown allegedly shoved a 24-year-old woman named Deanna Gines to the floor. She says the shove was on purpose, and led to an injury.
She went to the hospital, where doctors told her she had torn ligaments in her right knee, which may require surgery to repair. Gines filed a report with the police, which they are investigating.
Brown's rep Nicole Perna says no one on his team is aware of the incident or report. "None of this makes sense," she concludes. Meanwhile, Brown posted a message on Twitter, reading, "I didn't do anything." He later deleted the tweet, instead posting one that simply says "#positiveenergy," before writing, "The devil is always working. If it wasn't for my faith and my fans, I would've quit music along time ago."
Brown is currently in the middle of a probation violation case. The probation stems from a conviction for assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
