The cabler is set to launch a late-night show hosted by Chris Hardwick this fall. The as-yet-untitled series will be an expansion of the network's nightly block that already includes "The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report," airing four nights a week at midnight.

Deadline reports that the show, executive produced and run by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant ("Reno 911!"), will be formatted as a comedic panel show with a heavy social-media presence. Funny Or Die is also aboard as a producer of the new series.

Hardwick currently hosts a weekly chatfest on BBC America, "The Nerdist." He's also the ringleader of "Talking Dead," the aftershow companion piece for AMC's "The Walking Dead." At Comedy Central, the comedian has previously appeared in his own stand-up special and headlined a pop culture/tech pilot last year.
