CMA Awards 2013 best dressed: Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and more
Mrs. Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert ruled the red carpet in a figure-hugging royal blue halter gown with just the right amount of sequins to look elegant without looking blingy. A touch of smoky blue around her eyes was just the right touch.
Carrie Underwood also brought out the sparkle for her first look of the night. The co-host of the show wore bronze sequins and some strings of pearls over a cream sheer, flowy sheath dress. She also rocked the one side of the hair back trend, though her locks looked a little over-wrought for this easy frock.
"Dancing With the Stars" winner Kellie Pickler did her best Marilyn in a strapless black number that squeezed her assets in all the right places. A swathe of black sequins and an asymmetrical back added just the right hint of glam to an otherwise standard LBD.
Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles wowed with an enviable post-baby physique. And the gown she chose showcased her slim curves. It hinted at fun with the sparkly bodice, but had an air of sophistication just right for a glamorous new mom.
"Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale channeled Pocahontas, and we mean that in the best way possible. She also easily beat Carrie in the hair-pulled-back-on-one-side competition. If there was such a contest, she would win hands down. Effortless!
