CMT Awards 2012: Zac Brown Band debuts 'The Wind' - what did you think?

zac-brown-band-the-wind-cmt.jpgThe Zac Brown Band took to the 2012 CMT Awards stage to perform a new single, "The Wind," the second single off their yet-to-be released 2012 album "Uncaged," which drops July 10. "The Wind" was just released Wednesday (June 6), so this CMT performance really was the widespread debut of the single. What did you think?

We were impressed by lead singer Zac's quick-fire lyrics, though heck if we can tell you much of what he said. Definitely requires a few listens, we think. But what really impressed us was Zac on the guitar and Jimmy De Martini on the fiddle - the instrumentation on the piece was fantastic.

Do you think "Uncaged" will have the popularity of the band's last two albums? "The Foundation" and "You Get What You Give" both went platinum in the U.S. and between the two of them had eight No. 1 singles and one No. 2 single. We think we smell another hit with "The Wind." Do you agree?

We'll post video just as soon as we have it.
