The network has just announced that they have ordered eight episodes of a stand-up series from DeVine, "Adam DeVine's House Party." The series will spotlight 24 of DeVine's favorite up-and-coming comedians.

The series will combine stand-up and narrative sketches, inviting viewers inside DeVine's L.A. mansion where each week, three comedians will hang out and perform stand-up in the backyard.

"I don't know how I convinced Comedy Central to give me another show, a Hollywood mansion and a paycheck for hanging out with my friends," DeVine said. "I hope they have a good lawyer and the fire department on speed dial."

In a statement, Kent Alterman, President of Content Development and Original Programming for the network, joked, "It's hard to imagine what could go wrong by giving Adam so much money and turning him loose in a mansion to throw a house party, but we are sure to find out."

The series is slated to premiere this fall.
