Though the even officially kicks off on Thursday, Friday is when Comic-Con normally shifts into high gear. The 2013 installment of the annual convention is no different, with several big ticket panels filling up the day.
Though the news was leaked early by series creator George R. R. Martin, "Game of Thrones" is on the scheduled as returning to the San Diego Comic-Con. It'll be joined by other TV standouts like "The Walking Dead," "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD," "Bones," "The Following," "Falling Skies," and a pilot screening and panel for "Almost Human."
As for movies, Sony and Screen Gems will have a two-hour panel that will include "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," "Robocop," "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2" and "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones." "Veronica Mars," "Kick-Ass 2" and "Riddick" will also have a presence.

"The World's End" (10 - 11 a.m., Hall H): Stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost join director Edgar Wright to talk about their latest movie, and look back on their trilogy (including "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz").
"Defiance" (10:30 - 11:30 a.m., Room 6a)
Stars Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, Jaime Murray and the rest of the cast talk about the crossover TV show/video game.
"Veronica Mars" (11:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Hall H): Stars Kristen Bell, Francis Capra, Enrico Colantoni, Percy Daggs III, Jason Dohring, Ryan Hansen, Chris Lowell, Tina Majorino and Krysten Ritter and director Rob Thomas discuss their Kickstarter-funded movie and show a video presentation.
"Nikita" (11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Room 6BCF): Stars Maggie Q (Mission: Impossible 3), Shane West (ER), Lyndsy Fonseca (Kick-Ass), Aaron Stanford (X-Men: The Last Stand), Melinda Clarke (The O.C.), Devon Sawa (Final Destination), and Noah Bean (Damages) take the stage with executive producer Craig Silverstein for a farewell panel discussing the show's final season.
Universal Pictures (12:15 - 1:15 p.m., Hall H): Universal brings two movies to Comic-Con. "Riddick" will present stars Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious 6), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and Dave Bautista (The Man with the Iron Fists), and director David Twohy. "Kick-Ass 2" will also feature cast and crew, though no names have been announced.
"Bones" (12:30 - 1:30 p.m., Ballroom 20): Creator Hart Hanson and executive producer Stephen Nathan join star Davis Boreanaz to discuss the show's next season and present never-before-seen footage.
"The Walking Dead" (1:35 - 2:30 p.m., Hall H): Stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, David Morrissey, Scott Wilson and Chad Coleman are joined by executive producers Scott Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd and Dave Alpert discuss what to expect from season four of the show, along with a sneak preview.
"Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (1:45 - 3:00, Ballroom 20): Jeph Loeb, Joss Whedon and surprise guests will discuss the live-action series.
"Game of Thrones" (2:50 - 3:45 p.m., Hall H): Stars John Bradley, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Fairley, Kit Harington, Rose Leslie and Richard Madden will be joined by executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, along with creator George R. R. Martin, discuss what's next for the HBO hit.
"The Following" (3:15 - 4 p.m., Ballroom 20): Stars Kevin Bacon (Mystic River), Shawn Ashmore (X- Men: The Last Stand) and Valorie Curry (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2) join executive producer Marcos Siega for a Q&A and video presentation.
"Almost Human" (4 - 5 p.m., Ballroom 20): The pilot for the upcoming FOX show will be screened, followed by a Q&A with producers and stars of the series.
"Bob's Burgers" (4 - 5 p.m., Indigo Ballroom Hilton Bayfront Hotel): Stars H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, John Roberts, Kristen Schaal and Larry Murphy are joined by executive producers Loren Bouchard and Jim Dauterive to answer fan questions and show never-before-seen footage of the animated comedy.
Sony and Screen Gems (4:05 - 6:15 p.m., Hall H): Four movies are scheduled to be showcased during the two-hour panel. "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatball 2" presents stars Anna Faris and Terry Crews, as well as directors Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn. "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" brings stars Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan and Kevin Zegers, along with director Harald Zwart and best-selling author Cassandra Clare. "Robocop" will feature director Jose Padilha and stars Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish and Samuel L. Jackson. No cast has been announced for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" yet, but expect Spidey himself, Andrew Garfield, to be in attendance.
"Falling Skies" (4:30 - 5:30 p.m., Room 6BCF): Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Collin Cunningham, Sarah Carter, Conner Jessup and Doug Jones join executive producers Remi Aubuchon and Greg Beeman are participating in the panel, answering questions and showing never-before-seen footage.
"Archer" (5 - 6 p.m., Indigo Ballroom, Hilton Bayfront Hotel): Voice actors H. Jon Benjamin (Bob's Burgers), Aisha Tyler (The Talk), Chris Parnell (30 Rock), Judy Greer (Arrested Development), Amber Nash (Frisky Dingo), and Lucky Yates (Good Eats) and executive producers Adam Reed and Matt Thompson discuss the popular animated series.
