"Ant-Man" hasn't even begun filming yet, but Marvel still had some new footage at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. The comic-based movie also announced that Evangeline Lilly would play Dr. Pym's (Michael Douglas) daughter, Hope Pym.
What's in that early footage? An sequence that is entirely CGI showed Paul Rudd's character of Scott getting advice on how to ride and control a flying ant from Dr. Pym. Although Pym is encouraging, let's just say that Scott has a tough time with the bug. Director Peyton Reed did later tell Zap2it that was mostly test footage that probably won't make it into the final cut of the movie.
In addition to Douglas, Rudd and Lilly, Reed and newly-announced co-star Corey Stoll, who will play villain Yellowjacket, made it to the panel. They're all heading to Atlanta soon to begin filming "Ant-Man" starting on Aug. 18.
