david-cross-community-gi.jpgThe long list of guest stars for Season 5 of "Community" has added yet one more name -- "Arrested Development's" David Cross.

Cross will appear in an episode that will serve as something of a sequel to Season 2's "Advanced Dungeons and Dragons," Vulture reports. He'll play Hank Hickey, the estranged son of Jonathan Banks' Prof. Hickey, who joins the study group for a second round of D&D.

The casting of Cross deepens the "Community"-"Arrested" connection. "Community" creator Dan Harmon made an appearance on Season 4 of "Arrested," and that show's creator, Mitch Hurwitz, is returning the favor on NBC.

Among the other guests lined up for Season 5 of "Community," which premieres Jan. 2, are Nathan Fillion, Walton Goggins, Paget Brewster, Robert Patrick, Katie Leclerc, "Breaking Bad" creator Vince Gilligan and returnees John Oliver, LeVar Burton and Brie Larson.
