Do celebrities improve television game shows? If so, "The Pyramid" on GSN may be one of the best game shows ever. Sixteen TV personalities -- including Dot-Marie Jones, Chandra Wilson and Danny Pudi -- will appear in the show's upcoming season.

The celebrities will all participate in sets of two on "The Pyramid," with each pair remaining for a full week of episodes. Which celebrities do we get?

Melissa Peterman ( "Baby Daddy")
Nick Turturro ( "Blue Bloods")
Danny Pudi ( "Community")
Yvette Nicole Brown ("Community")
Wallace Langham ( "CSI")
Dot-Marie Jones ( "Glee")
Chandra Wilson ( "Grey's Anatomy")
Jai Rodriguez ( "Malibu Country" and "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy")
Lamorne Morris ( "New Girl")
Kate Flannery ( "The Office")
Oscar Nunez ("The Office")
Jim O'Heir ( "Parks and Recreation")
Megyn Price ( "Rules of Engagement")
Joshua Malina ( "Scandal")
Aida Turturro ( "The Sopranos")
Samantha Harris ( "Stars Earn Stripes" and "Dancing with the Stars")

Brown and Pudi will feature in the season-premiere week, beginning on Sept. 3. Mike Richards ( "Beauty and the Geek") will host "The Pyramid" throughout the season.

"The Pyramid" is a reboot of the classic "Pyramid" game shows. The format pairs each celeb with a non-famous contestant. The contestants take turns guessing words and phrases from clues, with the higher-scoring team advancing to the Winner's Circle for a top prize.

If the simple name, "Pyramid," doesn't seem familiar, you may know the show by one of its many, more-specific names: "The $10,000 Pyramid," "The $25,000 Pyramid" or "The $100,000 Pyramid."

"The Pyramid" will premiere on Monday, Sept. 3 and will air every weekday at 6 p.m. ET on GSN.
