'Community' Halloween preview: Gillian Jacobs says her costume was a pain in the neck

"Community's" Halloween episode is something the fans have really been looking forward to. Not only will we get to see what everyone's wearing (including how Joel McHale's Jeff pulls off "handsome" again), but also talk of zombies has been floating around for some time now.

"I feel like we took it up a notch from last year's Halloween episode," Gillian Jacobs, who plays Britta, tells Zap2it. "And Jeff's not necessarily the leader throughout the whole thing. So you are going to see other people stepping up to the plate, which I think is always fun."

Jacobs got to pick her costume both last year (when Britta dressed as a squirrel) and this year as she dressed like a t-rex!

"It is something that I dressed up in as a child," she tells us. "My grandmother made me this costume when I was a kid. I showed them pictures of my costume as a kid and I was having my mom take pictures on her phone and email them to me. And I was showing the women, our costume designers, and the women in the wardrobe department. So, it's really thrilling for me. I think my mom will get a real kick out of it."

The costume wasn't all fun and games for the actress: "Okay, I did develop neck pain. I had a very stiff neck and it became uncomfortable after a few hours."

We're still unsure who, if any, of the study group ingests some kind of biohazard at Greendale's Halloween party that changes people into zombies. And Jacobs isn't telling. When we asked if the show "zombied her up," she was hit with selective amnesia, "I don't know. I don't remember." Uh huh.
