Sorry, fans of "Troy and Abed in the Morning!" Donald Glover, the actor who plays Troy, will only appear in five of the 13 episodes in "Community" Season 5.

The news comes from sources that told Vulture of Glover's desire to focus on other projects. The actor also performs as a singer -- under the stage name Childish Gambino -- and is also developing a semi-autobiographical comedy for NBC.

Will Troy just disappear from Greendale Community College after five episodes? Or will Glover's handful of appearances be scattered throughout the entire short season?

Whatever the case, Glover isn't the only absence coming to "Community" in the upcoming season. Former regular Chevy Chase left the show shortly before filming completed on Season 4 and will not likely return at any point in the future. On the other hand, there are some notable returns as well. Dan Harmon, the show's creator and executive producer for Seasons 1 through 3, has been re-hired by Sony to lead Season 5. Another executive producer, Chris McKenna, has returned after missing Season 4 as well.

Can "Community" keep its funny going without Troy? More importantly, can Abed continue to exist without his best friend?
