'Community's' Alison Brie: I did 'Scream 4' and all I got was this lousy hair clip

As fans of the "Scream" movie franchise, we can totally relate to "Community" star, Alison Brie, who is a mega-fan of the franchise and now stars in its fourth incarnation.

"I love the Scream movies!" Brie tells E!Online. "I could probably recite all the lines. When I was in high school, me and my friends made a version of our own -- an homage if you will -- called 'Yell.' I think I was the sole survivor. I was the Neve Campbell of 'Yell.'"

She plays Rebecca, who has a "Type A" personality and works for Sydney (Campbell).

But, what does a big "Scream" fan do when they find themselves magically inside the production of their obsession? You have to take home some souvenirs, right? Well, Brie says she tried, but the production put a lockdown on her.

"You know what I got to keep? My hair clip at the very end," she jokes. "They were like, 'You can keep this hairclip.' I was like, 'Oh, this hairclip I can get at Rite Aid for $2.99?'"

We do applaud her for trying.
