Connie Britton: Kyle Chandler stopping 'Friday Night Lights' movie

The "Nashville" star sat down with host  Andy Cohen in the "Watch What Happens: Live" clubhouse Monday night (Oct. 7) and bemoaned the fact that Chandler put the kibosh on her dream project.

"You know, there's been a lot of talk about a lot of things. And some people are really excited about it, and other people aren't," Britton tells Cohen, just before throwing Chandler under the bus.

"I love the idea. I think it would be a great idea. But my former ... husband ... Coach Eric Taylor ..." Cohen interjects: "He thinks you did it already?" Britton replies, "Well, and he has a point. What do you think?"

When Cohen admits he would be in the theater on opening night, Britton latches on to the sympathetic voice of reason. "And we would only do it if it was gonna be a great movie," she insists. "That's the thing."

Cohen has just one request for the film, should it ever happen: "Don't invite Becky." To which Britton replies, "Noted."
