'Cougar Town' celebrates Valentine's Day (and the day before Valentine's Day)

cougar-town-cry-to-me-320.jpgThe bad news is that Wednesday's (Feb. 2) episode of "Cougar Town" is it's the last one we'll see for two-plus months.

The good news is that it's a Valentine's Day episode -- which means high potential for showcasing the cul-de-sac crew's romantic neuroses -- and that Valentine's Day is seven weeks after Christmas, which means the show can call back to Ellie's ( Christa Miller) general distaste for Christmas decorations. As you can see in the first clip below, she's upset at her neighbors for leaving their lights up too long.

She's also not a huge fan of Valentine's Day, which lets her husband, Andy ( Ian Gomez), make a date with his man-crush Bobby ( Brian Van Holt) instead.

The other clip shows that Grayson ( Josh Hopkins) just might be getting the hang of being with Jules ( Courteney Cox), as evidenced by the fact that he's not only celebrating Valentine's Day, but also the day before the day.

"Cougar Town" airs at 9:30 p.m. ET on ABC, but enjoy this episode, because after this week it goes on a hiatus to make room for Cox's former "Friends" husband, Matthew Perry, and "Mr. Sunshine." The show is scheduled to return on April 18.
