cougar-town-s3-finale1.jpgThe season finale of "Cougar Town" would work pretty well as a series finale -- but fortunately for fans of the show, it's not.

Tuesday's (May 29) one-hour finale is the last we'll see of the series on ABC, but with a move to TBS next year, it's not the end for Jules ( Courteney Cox), Grayson ( Josh Hopkins) and the rest of the cul-de-sac crew. The two episodes, "My Life" and "Your World," air at 8 p.m. ET, but while you get your wine to the proper temperature, here are a few things to watch for:

It's "Groundhog Day." Now that Jules and Grayson have moved in, he's a little put out by the fact that their house is always full of people (but, honestly, did he expect something different?). "My life is 'Groundhog Day,'" he laments after seeing Ellie ( Christa Miller) and Laurie ( Busy Philipps) in the kitchen for the millionth time. His remark then gives the pop-culture deficient Jules an idea for her bachelorette party.

The end of Penny Can? As we mentioned in this week's Kickstart, Bobby ( Brian Van Holt) and Andy ( Ian Gomez) are thrown for a loop when Travis ( Dan Byrd) tells them Penny Can isn't as fun as it once was. We disagree, but we get that the show needs to check itself every once in a while.

Travis can drink! Travis turns 21 in the finale, and the gang throws him an impromptu celebration -- one that kind of disturbs him at first -- to mark the occasion. He also says something that we're surprised doesn't make Jules disown him on the spot.

Ellie has eyes for ... David Arquette ? Arquette, an executive producer of "Cougar Town" (and Cox's ex-husband), guest stars as a hotel concierge, and Ellie has the immediate hots for him. Watching Miller play her normally icy character turned on is one of the comedic highlights of the episode, and you can get a taste of it here:

Laurie and Travis: a resolution (maybe). In the clip below, Laurie notes that she and Travis always end up flirting when they're alone. We know that Travis would like to be doing more than flirting at this point, but will he get his chance, finally? The finale offers up what feels like an end to the story, but we're not ready to call it quite yet.

A happy ending. You may have already seen pictures of Jules and Grayson having their beach wedding -- that they say their "I dos" isn't exactly a spoiler, since the whole season has been building to it. But the route they take to get there is a really satisfying one, and even the ceremony itself plays out in a way you might not expect. (Also, co-creator Bill Lawrence and co-exec producer Randall Keenan Winston make return cameos as Gulfhaven cops.)
