Courtney Stodden: 'I am a true feminist,' she tells 'Bethenny'
"A 50-year-old man comes into the picture. Immediately, my father absolutely shut it down," says Stodden. "[But] Doug eventually came down to visit me in Washington state ... when [my dad] met him, he spent about maybe four or five days with him and after his visit was over, my dad took me aside and said, 'I cannot believe I'm telling you this, but you have my blessing to marry this man. I know you're going to be safe. He's a good Christian man.'"
Moving forward, now that she and Hutchison are divorced and her time on the U.K.'s "Celebrity Big Brother" is over, Stodden says she wants to start fresh.
"Right now I am focusing on different things than wanting to star on reality TV. ... I'm not sitting here saying, 'What reality show can I do next?' Right now I want to focus on starting over again."
She also says that she doesn't think she's sending the wrong message by having large breasts and bleached-blonde extensions and dressing provocatively.
"I think that whether a woman wants to wear combat boots or eight-inch heels, that's their prerogative. If somebody feels comfortable a certain way with their life choices or how they look, regardless of what it is, if they're not hurting themselves or other people, I think it's fine," says Stodden.
"I happen to feel comfortable like this, I love the way I look and I think that's all that matters. I think that can empower other people. ... I actually feel that I am a true feminist, because I believe in women looking the way they want to look. I think real women support women, if they want to live their life a certain way. ... I am giving you my truth."
She also admits to Bethenny Frankel that she has a solo sex tape, but that it won't ever see the light of day.
"I have a sex tape, but it's not out there. ... I would never, ever, ever, ever leak it and I'm going on record saying that," says Stodden.
