ABC is bringing comedienne Cristela Alonzo to the small screen in the new TV series "Cristela," and Zap2it has an exclusive first look at the show's key art.
Unsurprisingly, it's Alonzo who is front and center in the above poster for the half-hour comedy. The series touts the tagline, "She can dream, can't she?"
The series follows Alonzo's character, also named Cristela, as she tries to fulfill her dream of becoming a lawyer. Despite her Mexican-American family's lack of understanding of her goal, she gets an unpaid internship for lawyer Trent Culepper (Sam McMurray), which could help her impossible dream come true.
"Cristela" also stars Carlos Ponce as Feliz, Maria Canals-Barrera as Daniela, Terri Hoyos as Natalia, Andrew Leeds as Josh, Jacob Guether as Henry and Isabella Day as Isabella. In recurring roles are Gabriel Iglesias as Alberto and Justine Lupe as Maddie.
"Cristela" premieres Friday, Oct. 10 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
