The red carpet at the 2013 Critics' Choice Movie Awards was awash in cutouts, sequins, and keyhole backs. Another trend? Belted dresses. Our choices for best dressed combined these trends flawlessly.

Marion Cotillard says, "It's fun to dress to be -- to feel pretty, and to feel comfortable." She definitely pulled off "fun" with a flirtatious sheer, lace, belted, tea-length party dress with floral sequin overlay, and a fully cut-out keyhole back.

Jennifer Lawrence, who says she still hasn't picked out her dress for the Golden Globes Sunday night, brought rock and roll to cutouts, combining leather, rouching, and a hardware-laden belt.

Emmy Rossum kept it simple in a sheer and sequined floor-length gown, and Jaime King sexed up the carpet, wearing boy shorts under a sheer gown with side cutouts and delicate straps. Of course she pumped up the glam with some shimmer and hardware.
