The "CSI: Cyber" crew is getting a criminal hacker added to their team in the form of rapper Shad "Bow Wow" Moss. He joins a cast that already includes Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek, Peter MacNicol and Charley Koontz.
Moss plays Brody "Baby Face" Nelson, a 19-year-old "cyber-intrusion savant." A judge sends him to work with Special Agent Avery Ryan (Arquette) as an alternative to going to prison.
A release from CBS describes the character, "Growing up without any parental guidance, Nelson joined 'hacktivist' groups for his extended family. His claim to fame is when he successfully hacked into the stock exchange and wired half a billion dollars to his bank account. Nelson's series dilemma will be working for the Feds while trying to keep his fingertips out of the Deep Web, where he was groomed to be one of the most prolific hackers in the world."
The 27-year-old rapper's previous acting credits include "Entourage," "Smallville," and "Ugly Betty," as well as movies like "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and "Roll Bounce."
