Cybill Shepherd's son allegedly steals from passengers' bags on United flight

Actress Cybill Shepherd's son has been charged with stealing from fellow airplane passengers.

Police say 22-year-old young man, Cyrus Shepherd-Oppenheim, (known as Zach) was arrested in Philadelphia on Tuesday (Jan. 12) around midnight after the United Airlines plane arrived from San Francisco and passengers reported items missing from their bags.

Witnesses identified him as the man who allegedly stole cash, a digital camera, a leather make-up case and a small travel bag from two passengers' carry-on luggage.

Cyrus has been charged with theft and unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.

He is the son of  Shepherd and chiropractor Bruce Oppenheim. The couple divorced in 1989.
