"Fifty Shades of Grey" fans, do not be dismayed. You may have just lost your dream Christian Grey when Charlie Hunnam decided to skip out on the film adaptation of E.L. James' erotic novel, but your Anastasia Steele is still secure in the hands of "Ben and Kate's" Dakota Johnson.
Rumor has it Hunnam buckled under the pressure of media scrutiny and wild fan frenzy, and flat out decided he didn't want to become the next Robert Pattinson. (Really though, "CHunnz" doesn't have quite the same ring to it as "RPattz" does.)
And since the on-screen couple was reportedly cast based on their screen test chemistry, industry watchers were left to wonder what would happen to Melanie Griffith's little girl and her potential breakthrough film role.
But alas, MSN Movies reports Johnson is in it for the long haul, despite the loss of her co-star, and that producers are just as committed to keeping her.
So, the search continues for the perfect embodiment of Christian Grey. Hey, producers: Matt Bomer fans have a suggestion for you ...
