charlene-tilton-dallas-tnt.jpg "Dallas" opened to big ratings for TNT on Wednesday, and no doubt part of the allure was seeing several old cast members interacting with newcomers to the show.

Patrick Duffy, Larry Hagman and Linda Gray have been front and center in the show's marketing, but long-time fans got a nice surprise in the premiere when Lucy Ewing ( Charlene Tilton) and Ray Krebbs ( Steve Kanaly) returned to Southfork for Christopher's ( Jesse Metcalfe) wedding. Most of the characters from the original "Dallas" are still alive (as are the actors who played them), so it's natural to think we might be seeing more familiar faces pop up somewhere down the line.

The show's producers are open to the idea as well. Showrunner Cynthia Cidre has said she wants to honor everything that happened in the show's 1978-91 incarnation, which would seem to leave the door open for more returns. Some likely suspects:

Cliff Barnes. Based on Wednesday's (June 13) premiere, the Ewing family is mostly at war with itself over the future of Southfork. But that would seem to make the situation ripe for J.R.'s old rival (played by Ken Kercheval) to come back -- and there have been reports that he will indeed return. Also notable: Christopher's new wife Rebecca ( Julie Gonzalo) is apparently hiding something. Cliff's mom was named Rebecca, and in the original series he had a daughter named Pamela Rebecca. Just sayin'.

Pamela Barnes Ewing. Cidre told a roomful of reporters in January that Pam is not dead, and it seems natural that Christopher's adoptive mother might want to see him again. One possible sticking point: Victoria Principal has a hugely successful cosmetics business and hasn't done any acting work in a decade.

Jenna Wade Krebbs. The character has a long history with Bobby -- she bore his biological son, Lucas -- and as far as we know is still out there somewhere. She married Ray Krebbs but wasn't at Christopher's wedding, but with Bobby sick, there could be a way to write Jenna (played mostly by Priscilla Presley in the first series) back in.

Who would you like to see return to "Dallas"?
