The episode, which originally aired March 6, featured Abby Lee Miller's troupe of dancers, all under the age of 13, performing a Las Vegas showgirls routine in costumes meant to make them appear nude -- with giant pink fans to cover them up.

The episode caused a huge backlash from parenting groups, child psychologists and even the ladies of "The View" over the inappropriate nature of the racy attire -- or lack thereof.

"It's to sexually arouse your audience," "The View" cohost and "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Sherri Shepherd said of the traditional showgirls' costumes.

A Lifetime rep confirmed that the episode has been wiped from the schedule but had no further comment, reports E! Online.
