'Dancing With the Stars' Buzz Aldrin talks about his moon walk on 'Bonnie Hunt'

buzz-aldrin-bonnie-hunt-sho.jpg Buzz Aldrin might have danced like he "still had his moon boots on" (c'mon, Bruno, that was too easy) on Monday's (March 22) "Dancing With the Stars," but what did we really expect from the 80-year-old former astronaut?

The legendary astronaut steps out of his dancing shoes and recalls his moon boot-walking days on Wednesday's "The Bonnie Hunt Show."

Aldrin dishes on everything from his thoughts on extraterrestrial life to how he failed at his first attempt on the moon: "Here I am on the moon, and I screwed up already ... not too many people saw it though."

Too bad he can't say the same about his performance on "Dancing With the Stars," where an estimated 24 million people saw Aldrin counting out loud to the cha cha cha. You're still our hero, Buzz!
