'Dancing With the Stars': Chelsea Kane's final performances

chelsea-kane-dwts-finals.jpg Chelsea Kane came into the "Dancing With the Stars" finals Monday (May 23) as maybe the least-talked-about member of the Final 3, but after scoring her first 10s last week, she has as good a chance as any of her fellow competitors to take the title.

She definitely came out strong with her first dance.

The judges chose a samba for her first dance, and Carrie Ann Inaba -- who gave her some pointers during the training session -- urged Chelsea to loosen up and let herself be sexy. She did, earning comments like "You were an ultra-sexy bombshell" ( Bruno Tonioli) and "Hot, hot, hot!" (Carrie Ann). She got 10s from each of them and a 9 from Len Goodman for a total of 29. Video of both performances are below.

For their freestyle, Mark Ballas choreographed a dance with a number of lifts, a lot of Latin moves and light-up shoes and gloves for both of them. Chelsea's shoe batteries failed midway through, but the judges loved it anyway. Len Goodman called it "so entertaining," and Carrie Ann literally couldn't find the words for how much she liked it, opting for just a scream instead. ("I'm just happy we're getting our money's worth out of all the 'Tron' merchandising," Tom Bergeron quipped.)

The routine earned a perfect 30 from the judges, ensuring she'd be no worse than tied for the lead from the judges.
