'Dancing With the Stars' costumer Randall Christensen picks his 5 faves

Those sequins and feathers on "Dancing With the Stars" don't just happen. Before a dancer
can shimmy, Randall Christensen, designs what they'll shimmy in.

Christensen, a former ballroom dancer and self-taught designer, tells Zap2it which have been his favorite five costumes over the years.

" Edyta Sliwinska is my muse," he says. "She is one of the few dancers who kept her curves. Anything she has almost worn has been great. She wears about a 1/4 of a yard each week."

Mulling over his favorites, Christensen picks:

melanie-brown-dwts.jpg1. " Mel Brown, her paso doble costume was very dominatrix really, really hot."

donny-osmond-dwts.jpg2.   "I loved Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson in a retro Adam Ant look and she was in a Madonna meets dominatrix. The costume was off the wall. It really worked."

julianne-hough-dwts.jpg3. " Julianne Hough's white rhinestone encrusted gown. It was rolled in 15,000 rhinestones. She did the quickstep with Helio Castronevas, the racecar driver."

kim-kardashian-dwts-dwts.jpg4. " Kim Kardashian, with Mark Ballas, had a pink and black ball gown."

cheryl-burke-dwts.jpg5. " Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke did the tango or passo doble, in red and black. Everything went perfectly."
