'Dancing with the Stars' results: Was Bill Nye, Keyshawn Johnson or Bill Engvall eliminated?

dancing-with-the-stars-week-2-elimination-bill-nye-keyshawn-johnson-bill-engvall-abc.jpgThanks to its new format, the first "Dancing with the Stars" Season 17 elimination came right after the week 2 performances of Latin Week. After the scores and votes were combined, it was Keyshawn Johnson and Sharna Burgess eliminated first.

Why did that happen?

Basically, it had to have had a lot to do with the votes. No one other than Bill Nye could have gone home if judges' scores were the important part. The fact that he stayed had a lot to do with the results that we got -- after all, can a man who got over 3 million YouTube views actually go home? It seems unlikely.

With the scores from week 1 and week 2 combined, Keyshawn and Sharna had 35 points. This placed them in 11th place for the scoring. They weren't at the bottom, but apparently, they were low enough to face elimination.

Do you agree with the first elimination of the season? Should someone else have gone home? What sort of predictions for the season can be made with these results? Sound off in the comments section below!
