'Dancing With The Stars' Season 18, finale part one: Show us your freestyle

dancing-with-the-stars-finale-part-one-judges.jpgThe "Dancing With The Stars" Season 18 finale part one (May 19) was filled with emotional performances and reminders of how far our finalist have come in life and in the ballroom. The judges even tried to give Meryl Davis and Maks Chmerkovskiy an 11 for their freestyle and we saw Amy Purdy fly through the air in an incredible aerial routine. Also important to note, veteran pro Mark Ballas was able to dance with his partner Candace Cameron Bure after suffering a severe shoulder injury in camera blocking the night before the finals.

Here's a rundown of how our almost champions did in front of the judges:

James Maslow and Peta Murgatroyd
