"Dancing with the Stars" Season 18 competitor Amy Purdy ended her week 7 performance in a lot of pain. Right after her Latin week rumba with partner Derek Hough, Purdy experienced major back spasms and had to go to the hospital for evaluation.

It turns out that the cause was a dislocated rib causing the spasms.

Purdy herself updated the world on her condition on Tuesday (April 29) morning via Twitter:

From this message, it seems that -- despite the pain -- the Paralympics athlete looks ready to keep going with the "DWTS" competition.

This dislocated rib is the second such problem experienced by a "Dancing with the Stars" celebrity this week -- Danica McKellar broke a rib during rehearsals for her Latin week performance.

"Dancing with the Stars" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
