There were seven couples remaining in "Dancing with the Stars" Season 16, but only six of those couples had even a chance of elimination at the end of the week 7 results show. Even with that limited pool of possible choices to leave, it wasn't a big surprise when Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess were eliminated in Latin Week.

"It was all your fault." Sure, that's what Andy said to Carrie Ann Inaba (who gave the dancer a 5 for his rumba), but it was definitely a reasonable time for the comedian to head home. It's kind of too bad though -- Andy Dick was a lot of fun.

The standings

The combination of main dances and extra points for the dance-off means that a few of the couples managed to actually exceed the standard 30 points. Some did not.

1. Aly Raisman and Mark Ballas -- 32 points (29+3)
2. Zendaya and Val Chmerkovskiy -- 30 points (27+3)
3. Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough -- 29 points
4. Jacoby Jones and Karina Smirnoff -- 27 points
5. Ingo Rademacher and Kym Johnson -- 25 points (22+3)
6. Sean Lowe and Peta Murgatroyd -- 24 points
7. Andy Dick and Sharna Burgess -- 17 points

Yeah, it wasn't looking good for Andy and Sharna, going into the "DWTS results show.

Who had zero chance of going home?

Because they achieved the highest initial score during the Latin Week performances, Kellie and Derek were automatically safe from elimination. This must have been very nice for the couple, although we all knew they weren't leaving anyway.

Kellie and Derek will not be leaving before the last few weeks of "DWTS" at the earliest.

More results

With only six couples needing to hear their fates, results weren't really a big thing on this show.

Zendaya & Val and Jacoby & Karina get the first of the initial results. While Zendaya and Val were declared safe, Jacoby and Karina found themselves in jeopardy for the first time this season.

Aly & Mark and Ingo & Kym were up next. Aly and Mark were safe, which wasn't a huge surprise with their scores. Ingo and Kym, meanwhile, were stuck in jeopardy.

The final group to get their results were Sean & Peta and Andy & Sharna. It wasn't a shock that Andy and Sharna were in jeopardy, while Sean and Peta were safe for the week.

When it came time for the last results of the night before the elimination, Jacoby and Karina were quickly declared safe. With Ingo and Kym narrowly getting the votes to stick around, Andy and Sharna were the ones doomed to go home.

Music and dance and stuff

Michael Buble had an early performance in the show. He kind of looked like he had just sort of wandered in from somewhere. Seriously, the guy had the same tuxedo as the dancers and was just hanging out in a corner with his microphone.

None of this is meant as a criticism of Michael Buble.

The next performance up was the encore dance, performed this week by Aly and Mark. They repeated their nutty, fun and nearly perfect salsa. This was a good choice.

The spotlight performance of the week focused on Tawanda Jones, a woman who helps kids in Camden, NJ (a very poor and difficult location) with a drill team. The kids of the Camden Sophisticated Sisters were really, really cute. And good dancers.

A video package gave the account of Adrienne Haslett, the ballroom dancer who lost the lower part of her leg during the Boston Marathon bombings. She wasn't up for dancing yet, but "Dancing with the Stars" is fully planning to let her perform on the show eventually.

Right after that, Allison Holker and Stephen "tWitch" Boss danced a routine to the music of Lindsay Sterling on violin. It was cool.
