Daniel Radcliffe looks devious in first 'Horns' image
Daniel Radcliffe is saying goodbye to Harry Potter and saying hello to something a bit more devilish.
The first image has been released of Radcliffe's new movie "Horns," and it shows that he's not playing a character who should be trifled with. Entertainment Weekly posted the picture as well as a brief interview with Radcliffe about the role.
"It's a very, very different type of part than anything I've done before," Radcliffe tells the magazine, adding that it's "deeply emotional and also incredibly outrageous in some ways."
He continues, "To play somebody who, in the midst of a time in his life of great turmoil anyway, undergoes this horrific transformation into a devil character -- it was very, very exciting."
Based on the Joe Hill novel of the same name, "Horns" tells the story of Ig, a man accused of raping and murdering his girlfriend. After she is found dead, Ig wakes up to find that two horns have sprouted from his head that grant him the ability to force those around him to tell the truth or give into their darkest urges. He uses those powers to try to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding his girlfriend's death.
